Dr. Sourav Chatterjee is a Clinical Associate Professor of Analytics and the Assistant Chair of the Information Technology and Decision Sciences Department at the University of North Texas. He earned his PhD in econometrics and industrial organization from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.
Before entering academia, Dr. Chatterjee held senior positions in quantitative consulting, where he provided advanced statistical and econometric modeling solutions to clients in various sectors, including airlines, finance, healthcare, retail, and technology. His extensive work experience spans engagements in the United States, Asia, and Africa.
Dr. Chatterjee is a key contributor to the annual SIM IT Trends Study, where he oversees the implementation and analysis of surveys. Based at the University of North Texas, his research interests include statistical and machine learning, behavioral incentives, and technology-driven decision sciences.
